use File Explorer to open or to modify a file that
does not have a file name extension. CAUSEThis problem occurs because File Explorer assigns a new icon
directly to the file that
does not have a file name extension instead of
checking the icon cache.
Therefore,
a
new icon is added to the icon cache
every time that you open or modify the file. Additionally, the new icons are never
released. RESOLUTIONSoftware update informationA supported software update is now available from Microsoft as Windows CE 6.0 Platform Builder Monthly Update (July 2008).
