SYMPTOMS

On a portable computer that is running an Italian version of Windows Vista, you configure the Power Options settings in Control Panel. However, the Alimentazione da rete elettrica (minuti) box is not completely visible. Therefore, you cannot configure the number of minutes that the computer should wait before it sleeps while the computer is plugged in.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the phrase "Alimentazione da rete elettrica (minuti)" is too long.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, click Alimentazione da rete elettrica (minuti): 1080, and then use the UP ARROW key or the DOWN ARROW key to set the number of minutes. Or, click Alimentazione da rete elettrica (minuti): 1080, and then type the number of minutes manually.
