SYMPTOMS

The Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) based SAP adapter from Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 Adapter Pack v1.0 does not support the SAP TABLE type for input and output parameters such as RFC and BAPI. If an RFC request that has TABLE type parameters is called, the call crashes with an exception.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

Note Because of file dependencies, the most recent hotfix that contains these files may also contain additional files.After you apply this hotfix, Biztalk Server 2006 Adapter Pack v1.0 will enable the SAP Adapter to successfully expose and execute SAP functions that have TABLE type parameters.
