When you try to install Microsoft Money on a Microsoft
Windows 2000-based computer, you may receive one of the following error
messages:
Error Message 1: The system administrator has set
policies to prevent this installation.
Error Message 2: To
install this product you need to be running Windows 95 or greater, or Windows
NT 4.0 or greater. On Windows NT or Windows 2000 systems you must have
administrative privileges, please refer to the Operating System help files for
information regarding privileges.
You may also receive the following dialog box:
Install Program As Other User.

This issue may occur if you are not logged on to the
computer as an administrator.

To resolve this issue, log on to the computer as an
administrator, and then install Money.
To log on to the computer as
an administrator, follow these steps:
| 1. | Click Start, and then click Shut Down. |
| 2. | In the What do you want the computer to
do? box, click Log off
username, and then click OK. |
| 3. | Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE. |
| 4. | In the User name box, type
administrator, or type the name of another administrator
account. |
| 5. | In the Password box, type the password for the administrator account, and then
click OK. |
