INTRODUCTION

Microsoft has released an update for the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Microsoft OneNote 2010. This update provides the latest fixes for the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of OneNote 2010. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.

Issues that this update fixes

  • When you update search results in the Tags Summary pane, some tags are not displayed in the pane. This issue occurs after you switch between sections in a notebook in OneNote 2010.

  • Assume that two users open a OneNote 2010 notebook from a Microsoft SharePoint site. One user changes the section order in the notebook in OneNote 2010 and then synchronizes the notebook with the SharePoint server. In this situation, the second user can change the order of the sections in the notebook during the synchronization process.

  • Assume that an OneNote page contains multiple XPS documents. When you view the page, OneNote 2010 consumes excessive CPU resources.

  • After you apply Office 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) on OneNote 2010, you cannot set a default page template for a section.
