SYMPTOMS

You are using Windows Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 6 together with the Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar. When you install Windows Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1, you receive a message that the Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar does not work with Internet Explorer 8.

RESOLUTION

Use the Developer Tools that are installed together with Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1. To do this, use one of the following methods:
Start Internet Explorer 8, and then press SHIFT+F12.
Start Internet Explorer 8, and then click the Developer Tools icon on the command bar.
Note Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 does not include all functionality that is available in the Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar.
