SMB 2.0 protocol-related performance counters return extremely high values on computers that are running Windows Server 2008 or Windows VistaArticle ID: 969670 - View products that this article applies to. On This PageSYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You collect data on the following performance counters on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista. However, the counts of these queues are not managed very well when connection information is moved across these queues. This behavior causes the incorrect updates of queue counts. In the scenario that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section, the SMB 2.0 performance counters increase incorrectly to extremely high values.
