Last Modified Time Value Is Not Updated Correctly When You Modify Any File on a WebDAV ShareArticle ID: 820193 - View products that this article applies to. On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you modify any file on a Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) share, you may notice that the last modified time value is not updated correctly. CAUSEThis problem occurs because the WebDAV mini-redirector in Windows XP attaches the Win32LastModifiedTime property to the file to indicate the last modified time. However, this value is incorrect. To attach this property, Windows XP uses the propattach command when the file is created or modified. Even if the getlastmodified property is present, the WebDAV mini-redirector gives priority to the Win32LastModifiedTime property over the getlastmodified property. RESOLUTIONService pack informationTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Windows XP.
