Symptoms

The Microsoft CRM system is not receiving e-mail, and the following error appears in the application event log:
"ErrorMessage: SOAP Server Application Faulted 80040216 An unexpected error occurred.No boundary definition encountered in multipart declarationd:\crm\build\3297\src\platform\include\util\CRMMimeUtil.inl826
Source: System.Web.Services"

Resolution

Microsoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
