This Support WebCast answers questions that typical home users may have when they decide to upgrade to broadband Internet service. Expert Zone columnist Joli Ballew discusses how to choose a broadband Internet service provider, how to install the hardware for the Internet connection, and how to configure Microsoft Windows XP and your software to work with broadband service. She will also cover how to obtain help and advice from the Windows XP user community when you need it.

Joli Ballew is a writer and graphic artist in the Dallas area and the author of Windows XP: Do Amazing Things (Microsoft Press). She also teaches Microsoft FrontPage classes at Eastfield Community College and works as a network administrator and artist for North Texas Graphics. Joli has authored over a dozen books on technologies ranging from operating systems and image-editing programs to certification textbooks.
