CAUSEThis problem occurs because Transport Layer Security (TLS) must be configured to use server authentication on both the terminal server and on the client that is running Windows XP SP2. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, use one of the following methods:
MORE INFORMATIONThis problem does not occur when the .rdp file is created on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and that has the Terminal Server role installed. This problem does not occur because of a known problem that prevented the Require Server Authentication option from being enabled.
