If you determine that Failover Clusters in your environment may be affected by the problem(s) that a fix addresses, install the fix on each cluster node by using the procedures that are described in Knowledge Base article 174799: Patching Windows Server Failover Clusters.

We recommend that you install one or more of the following Windows Server 2008 R2 post-SP1 hotfixes, depending on your environment.

Note: You do not have to install this fix if you are not running these resources in a Failover Cluster.

For Hyper-V Failover Clusters using Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV), install the following:
