When you right-click My Computer, click Manage, and then click Services and Applications, you may receive the following error message:
No administerable services found
Note In this error message, the word "administerable" is a misspelling for the word "administrable."

This problem may occur because when you install the server tools on a Windows 2000 Professional-based computer, the Internet Information Services (IIS) snap-in is selected (by default), but the IIS snap-in configuration does not finish.

To resolve this problem:
  1. Double-click Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.
  2. Click Add\Remove Windows Components, and then click Internet Information Services.
  3. Click Details, and then click to clear the Internet Information Services Snap-in check box.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
