When a Web page that hosts Flash advertisements in an iframe object refreshes itself dynamically, Internet Explorer may stop respondingArticle ID: 924928 - View products that this article applies to. SYMPTOMSWhen a Web page that hosts Flash advertisements in an iframe object refreshes itself dynamically, Microsoft Internet Explorer may stop responding. CAUSEThis issue occurs when the OnLoad event handler on the main page or on the page to which the iframe object points is called before the current page is destroyed. WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, add a short delay to the OnLoad event handler code on the main page and also on the page to which the iframe object points. The page then has sufficient time to create a workable HTML object. The OnLoad event handler code can access the HTML object and display its content on the new page. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
