This article describes update 4011187 for Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 that was released on February 6, 2018. This update has a prerequisite.

Be aware that the update in the Microsoft Download Center applies to the Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2010. It doesn't apply to the Office 2010 Click-to-Run editions, such as Microsoft Office 365 Home (see Determining your Office version).

Improvements and fixes

This update fixes an issue in which opening files in PowerPoint 2010 isn't as fast as it was before you installed Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

Microsoft scanned this file for viruses by using the most current virus-detection software that was available on the date that the file was posted. The file is stored on security-enhanced servers that help prevent any unauthorized changes to it.
