Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You deploy the dial-in conferencing capabilities in a Microsoft Lync Server 2010 environment, or in a Microsoft Lync Online environment.

  • You configure the telephony setting of a Lync 2010 user to Audio/Video disabled.

  • The user opens a Microsoft Outlook meeting invitation.

In this scenario, the dial-in conferencing information that contains the dial-in telephone number and the participant code or the conference ID is not displayed.

Cause

This issue occurs because the Online Meeting Add-in for Lync 2010 does not receive the dial-in conferencing information from the conferencing components when the telephony setting for a user is set to Audio/Video disabled.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:

2701664 Description of the update for Lync 2010: June 2012
