office small business 2007 upgrade with office starter 2010?

Office 2010 Will not install
Trying to install Office 2010 upgrade (from Office 2007). I have downloaded the install file. When I run it, I get the following: Setup is unable to proceed due to the following error(s): Microsoft
I have a trial version of office 2007 and the full version of 2010. for some reason, my computer set the 2007 as the default. How do I change the default back to 2010?
