Microsoft Support Lifecycle enters the world of blogs
The Microsoft Support Lifecycle team has started a new blog on TechNet.
The Support Lifecycle blog covers hot topics related to product support, details the nuances of the MSL policy, and answers frequently-asked questions. Relaxed, informal, and very interactive, the blog offers Microsoft the opportunity to learn what customers are really thinking and obtain their feedback.
Why a blog? “The Support Lifecycle blog is a way for us to start to build a community,” says Jared Proudfoot, Group Manager for the Microsoft Support Lifecycle. “The goal of this blog is not to replace the main Microsoft Support Lifecycle Web site as the authoritative source for information about the policy. Instead, our goal is to use this blog as an informal communication mechanism to supplement the site and to answer some common questions that we receive,” he adds.
The Microsoft Support Lifecycle team encourages customers to visit the blog and share their feedback, comments, and questions about product support. The Microsoft Support Lifecycle Blog is available at http://blogs.technet.com/lifecycle/default.aspx.
