BUG: Insert Object from Zero Length File Causes GP Fault

Creating an object from a zero length file that does not have a valid file class extension results in a general protection (GP) fault after displaying the message,

When creating an object from a file that does not have a valid class extension, the Object Packager is invoked to generate the embedded object. In the case of a zero length source file, the Packager document-level DDE window is rendered invalid before a terminate message can be sent to it.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) libraries version 2.01.

While the operation still fails with Object Packager 3.5 under Windows NT 3.5, the Object Packager provides a better error message.
