Your Program Manager contains too many Program Groups for Setup to continue. You will need to remove some Program Groups to run setup.

This problem occurs when installed Windows NT by upgrading your Windows version 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups version 3.11 installation, and 40 program groups are defined in the PROGMAN.INI file. Program Manager is limited to groups in Windows and Windows for Workgroups.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem:
  1. Rename the PROGMAN.INI file located in the WINDOWS directory to PROGMAN.BAK.
