The CONVERT utility (CONVERT.EXE) is used to convert an existing FAT or
HPFS partition to an NTFS partition. The CONVERT utility converts the
partition to NTFS the next time the system reboots.
This article describes how to prevent the NTFS conversion from occurring if it has been scheduled to occur during the next reboot. MORE INFORMATION
In order to cancel the scheduled NTFS conversion, do the following:
