OFF97: Cannot Delete Workgroup Templates Path in OSB Dialog

If you specify a folder location for Microsoft Word 97 Workgroup templates, you cannot delete the setting from the Office Shortcut Bar.

To delete the current setting for the Workgroup templates location, use the following steps:

1. Start Microsoft Word.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3. In the Options dialog box, click the File Locations tab.
4. Under "File types", click "Workgroup templates" and then click Modify.
5. In the Modify Location dialog box, delete the contents of the "Folder name" edit box, and then click OK.
   
   The location for "Workgroup templates" is cleared.
6. In the Options dialog box, click OK.

By selecting a Workgroup templates location, a group of users can share the same templates without having to store the templates on each user's computer. The templates stored in the location you specify for Workgroup templates are available in the New dialog box.
