BUG: SQL_COPT_SS_PERF_QUERY_INTERVAL Is in Seconds

SYMPTOMS

The "Programming ODBC for SQL Server" manual for SQL Server 6.5 states that the Microsoft SQL Server ODBC driver specific option SQL_COPT_SS_PERF_QUERY_INTERVAL specifies time intervals in milliseconds. However, the option is actually setting the interval in increments of seconds.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5 and the ODBC driver version 2.65. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
