PRJ: Hang When Print or Preview - Error in Dibeng.dll

When you print or preview a file, Microsoft Project stops responding (hangs) and you receive the following error message: NOTE: The error message may also indicate the address at 0007:000011db.

This error occurs when all the following conditions are true:

• The display adapter type is based on the Chips & Technologies chip set. -and-
  
  
• The display properties color palette is set to High Color (16 bit). -and-
  
  
• You are using a color printer driver such as the Hewlett-Packard 660c version 7.0 - 6xx.

Change the display properties color palette to a setting other than High Color such as 256 color, or True Color (24 bit), using these steps:

1. On the Windows Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Display icon.
3. Click the Settings tab.
4. In the Color Palette list, select a setting other than High Color.
