SYMPTOMS
When you run the Microsoft Access 7.0 Setup program to uninstall Microsoft
Access 7.0 from a computer that also has Microsoft Access 97 installed, the
Microsoft Access shortcut on the Programs list of the Start menu is
removed.
CAUSE
The Start menu shortcuts for Microsoft Access 7.0 and Microsoft Access 97
have the same label and appear to be identical. The Setup program assumes
the shortcut is for Microsoft Access 7.0, and removes it as part of the
Remove All option of the Setup program.
RESOLUTION
Use the Taskbar Properties dialog box to create a new shortcut for
Microsoft Access 97 in Microsoft Windows 95 or later, or in Microsoft
Windows NT:
