To Convert a Works for Windows 3.0 WP File to Word 97

1.Start Word 97 and open a blank document.
2.On the Tools menu click Options.
3.Click the General tab.
4.Click the box next to Confirm conversion at Open to select it.
5.Click OK.
6.On the File menu click Open.
7.Locate the Works for Windows 3.0 word processing document.
8.Click Open.
9.At the Convert File box, confirm Works 3.0 for Windows is selected.
10.Click OK.

To Convert a Word 97 Document to Works for Windows 3.0

1.Open the document in Word 97.
2.On the Tools menu click Options.
3.Click the General tab.
4.Click the box next to Confirm conversion at Open to select it.
5.Click OK.
6.On the File menu click Save As.
7.Under Save as Type, click Works for Windows 3.0.
8.Click Save.
9.Start Works for Windows version 3.0 and open the document.
