If you run Microsoft Outlook 97 on the same computer as Eudora Pro, Eudora Light 3.0.1 32 bit, or another e-mail client, you may receive one of the following error messages when using Outlook:
OUTLLIB.DLL is linked to missing export MAPI32.DLL.
-or-
The MAPI Spooler has shut down unexpectedly. Close all
mail-enabled applications before attempting to log on again.
-or-
Ordinal 136 could not be located in the dynamic link library Mapi32.dll.
NOTE: The "Ordinal number" may vary. CAUSE
Eudora Pro and some other e-mail clients include a set of messaging functions called Extended Messaging Services Application Programming Interface that may cause this problem.
RESOLUTION
Select the appropriate method based on the e-mail client you use. If you use one of the Eudora clients, turn off Eudora's MAPI service:
