PPT97: European Currency Symbol Doesn't Print After Cut/Paste

SYMPTOMS

When you print a PowerPoint presentation after performing a cut and paste operation of a selection that is formatted with the European Currency Symbol, the European Currency Symbol is not printed.

CAUSE

This is a problem with the Powerpnt.exe file.

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, obtain Microsoft PowerPoint 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).
