Cancel Receiving a File

When a file is being sent, the receiving computer displays a dialog box with a Cancel button. To cancel receiving the file, click the Cancel button.

Cancel Sending a File

When a file is being sent, the sending computer displays a progress indicator in the lower right portion of the screen. To cancel the sending of the file from the sending computer, follow these steps:
  1. On the Tools menu, click File Transfer.
  2. Click Cancel Send.

Cancel Receiving a File

When a file is being sent, the receiving computer displays a dialog box with a Cancel button. To cancel receiving the file, click the Cancel button.

Cancel Sending a File

When a file is being sent, the sending computer displays a progress indicator in the lower right portion of the screen. To cancel the sending of the file from the sending computer, in the File Transfer window, click Stop Sending on the File menu.
