WinNT Err Msg: STOP 0x0000001E in Win32k.sys When Moving Mouse on Multiprocessor Computer

SYMPTOMS

A multiprocessor computer booting Windows NT may experience a STOP 0x0000001E error in Win32k.sys.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Win32k.sys may improperly handle mouse movements, which causes an access violation.

RESOLUTION
