transactions for each purchase, and uses FIFO (First In First Out) when
it calculates the gain or the loss from any Sales of Stocks or Options (Average Cost is used for Mutual Funds). You can record each purchase in a different account to track your Lots independently. Note Microsoft Money 2004 and later versions let you choose the FIFO or Lots method for capital gains calculations.
