In Microsoft Excel 97, if you run a Visual Basic macro that uses a line of
code similar to the following to delete all of the chart sheets in a
workbook
CAUSE
This problem occurs if the workbook does not contain any chart sheets.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Excel 2000.

Note that this problem does not occur in earlier versions of Microsoft
Excel. In earlier versions of Microsoft Excel, if the workbook does not
contain any chart sheets, you receive the following error message:
