SUMMARY

The Exchange Server 5.5 database tool, Eseutil.exe, is located in the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder.

In Exchange 2000, the Eseutil tool is located in the C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Bin folder.

Previous versions of the JET utility are located in the Exchsrvr\Bin directory. Because JET97 is used by applications other than Exchange Server, it should be considered a shared system utility.

This behavior is by design because JET is a shared system utility.
