Description of the Microsoft Windows registry SUMMARY
When you dial a phonebook entry in Dial-Up Networking, you can use
the "Save Password" option so that your Dial-Up Networking password is cached and you will
not need to enter it on successive dial attempts. For security,
administrators may want to prevent users from caching passwords. MORE INFORMATIONWarning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.
