When you attempt to edit the path of an installed browser in the Path box
in the Edit Browser dialog box, you are limited to 50 characters.
NOTE: To locate the Edit Browser dialog box, on the File menu, click Web Page Preview, and then click Browse. WORKAROUND
To work around this problem and circumvent the 50-character limitation,
follow these steps:

listed at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATION
Microsoft will periodically provide updated versions of the Web page
authoring tools to keep up with changing technology. These tools can
be updated automatically by Word, or you can manually request Word to check
for and download the latest version of the tools.
