XCON: Gateway Address Routing Table Not Recalculated Correctly

SYMPTOMS

When a Microsoft Exchange Server computer attempts to recalculate the gateway address routing table (GWART), the server may not recalculate the GWART properly. As a result, the message transfer agent (MTA) may be unable to deliver some messages.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.0.
