SUMMARY

If you want to import one of your Microsoft Outlook 97 Personal Address Books into a Microsoft Access 97 table or have a Microsoft Access table linked to your Outlook Inbox, you can use Microsoft Access to query your incoming e-mail for specific information. You can do this using the Import Exchange/Outlook Wizard and the Link Exchange/Outlook Wizard available on the Microsoft Web site.
With these wizards, you can view and work with information from your e-mail folders and address books using Microsoft Access.

MORE INFORMATION

Which wizard you use depends on whether you want to link or import your e- mail data.

When you link to a table, you can read and update the data from Outlook and from your Microsoft Access database, and you can see changes to your mail folder or address book data in your linked Microsoft Access table. You cannot change the structure of a linked table.

When you import a table, the data in Outlook and in your database are maintained separately, and you can change the structure of the imported table.
