OL97: Right-Clicking Form with Attachment Closes Opened Form

When you open a custom form on the desktop and use the right mouse button to click (right-click) the same Inbox entry, the opened form will shut down.

When you right-click the custom form in the Inbox, the form is loaded to check for an attachment submenu. This is followed by a shutdown message that causes the open form to close.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Outlook version 8.03. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).

This fix resolves the problem by not opening the form when right-clicked, which also avoids form loading and form opening delays.
