Error Message: Your Password Is Too Short

After you change your domain password, you may receive the following error message: You may receive this error message even though the password you typed is the correct length.

This problem can occur if you log on to a domain that requires a "strong" password, and you did not type both uppercase and lowercase letters. A strong password is a password that consists of six or more characters, has numeric characters, and has both uppercase and lowercase letters.
