Unintelligible Characters Appear Using "Who Am I?" Command

SYMPTOMS

When you right-click Network Neighborhood, click Who Am I, and then click OK, random or unintelligible characters may appear in the list of currently connected servers.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you have the Client for NetWare Networks network client installed and you are not currently connected to a network.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
