Symptoms of the problemWhen you use Microsoft Money to manage your finances, you may start receiving error messages or notice unexpected symptoms. If you receive any one of the following error messages, you may have some damage in your Money data file: This transaction cannot be entered Money is not properly installed. Please try setup again. Money could not write to your money file. The operation cannot be performed or another application finished this task before you. Money cannot locate filename or cannot open it, possibly because it is a read-only file, you do not have permission to change it, or your disk drive is write-protected. If you have chosen the correct file and it cannot be accessed, you will need to click OK and then Restore your most recent backup file. Due to changes in your Money file, the saved version of "report name" is no longer valid. Money has attempted to reset this report, but you should reset it manually to avoid unreliable information.
