When trying to rename files that are greater than 130 characters using
Client Services for NetWare (CSNW) from a Microsoft Windows NT version 4.0
system, you may receive the following error message:
Cannot rename <filename>. The filename you specified is invalid or too long. Specify a different filename. This problem is likely to manifest itself in applications that use the "save to temporary file, delete original, and rename the temporary file" process of saving changes to files. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition.
