SUMMARY

This article describes how to disable Microsoft Internet Explorer Sound Pack for Internet Explorer 4.0 or 5.0. To disable these versions of the Internet Explorer Sound Pack, use the following steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Sounds.
  2. In the Events box, click Complete Navigation, click None in the Name box, and then click Apply.
  3. In the Events box, click Start Navigation, click None in the Name box, and then click OK.
  4. Close Control Panel.
