Java Files May Be Left in /var/tmp Folder

SYMPTOMS

When you view Web pages with Java content, temporary files are placed in the /var/tmp folder and may not be deleted. These files are usually named JVM<nnn>, where <nnn> is any number.

RESOLUTION

You can safely delete the JVM<nnn> files from the /var/tmp folder when Internet Explorer is not running.
