After you install Internet Explorer with the Active Desktop enabled, you
may not be able to view all shares available or connect to a share on a
Windows NT server that has thousands of shares available.

Cannot Connect to Windows NT Server with Many Shares
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain and install Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 2. You can obtain Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 2 from the following Microsoft Web site:
