WD98: Unexpected Quit with Error Type 1 Using STF Fax

When you click Fax for Fax Setup on the File menu, Word may respond in the following ways:

• Word will quit with an Error Type 1
  
  -or-
• It appears that the fax is being transmitted, but nothing happens.

NOTE: You will receive a similar problem when you attempt to fax from "FaxPrint" in the Chooser.

This problem occurs in Word 98 with STF Fax versions 3.2.1 and 3.2.3 because the Chooser is unable to select "FaxPrint" while in Word 98.

NOTE: STF Fax version 3.2.3 is only available bundles with the PowerBook model of Macintosh computers.

To resolve this problem, contact STF Technologies to receive STF Fax version 3.2.5 and the E-update patch.
