SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Word 98 Macintosh Edition, the list of available fonts on the Font drop-down list may start from the bottom of the list the first time you click it.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of an extension conflict between Adobe Type Reunion 2.0 and 2.0.3, the Macintosh operating system, and Word 98.

WORKAROUND

To prevent Word from starting the list of available fonts from the bottom of the list, click the Font drop-down list a second time.
