Missing Files on Endpoints with Transactions Enabled

SYMPTOMS

Transacted replications may have files deleted during the replication process. The Windows NT Event log will report the following:
   15119 Failed to move file %1 to %2
				
(where %1 is the path to the temporary file in the CRSTemp directory on the destination drive, and %2 is the file path of the destination file).

CAUSE

This problem can occur when administrative commands are executed against a project while an unrelated project replication is running.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Site Server version 3.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. service pack for Microsoft Site Server version 3.0. For Information on obtaining the service pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
