PowerPoint 2.0 and 2.0e for Windows (.ppt)
PowerPoint 2.0 and 2.01x for the Macintosh*
PowerPoint 3.0 for Windows (.ppt)
PowerPoint 3.0 and 3.0b for the Macintosh
PowerPoint 4.0, 4.0a, and 4.0c for Windows (.ppt)
PowerPoint 4.0 for the Macintosh
PowerPoint 7.0 for Windows 95 (.ppt)
PowerPoint 7.0 for Windows 95 Design Templates (.pot)
PowerPoint 7.0 for Windows Show (.pps)
PowerPoint 97/98 Presentations (.ppt)**
PowerPoint 97/98 Design Templates (.pot)**
PowerPoint 97/98 Show (.pps)**
* PowerPoint 2.0 and 2.0e for Windows files must be moved cross-platform by the Apple File Exchange utility and require the PowerPoint Apple File Exchange Translator.

** PowerPoint 98 for the Macintosh files must be given the correct three letter extension, .ppt, .pot, .pps, before PowerPoint 97 will open these files. PowerPoint 97 can import files saved in the following formats:
Harvard Graphics 2.3 for DOS charts (.cht)
Harvard Graphics 2.3 for DOS shows (.shw)
Harvard Graphics 3.0 for DOS charts (.ch3)
Harvard Graphics 3.0 for DOS shows (.sh3)
Lotus Freelance 4.0 for DOS (.drw)
Lotus Freelance 4.0 for DOS shows (.shw)
Lotus Freelance 1.0 - 2.1 for Windows (.pre)
