SYMPTOMS

When you try use a Diamond Multimedia Stealth II S220 display adapter with your Windows 98-based computer, your computer may stop responding (hang).

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, obtain and install the most current version of driver for this display adapter. For information about how to do so, contact Diamond Multimedia, or view the documentation included with your display adapter.

This problem occurs most frequently when you start the Add New Hardware wizard while the drivers for the Diamond Multimedia Stealth II S220 included with Windows 98 are installed. In this situation, your computer may hang. If the standard VGA video driver is installed, the Add New Hardware wizard runs successfully.
